Beautiful edging plant... bushy with red flowers but the pods are disappointing.. could add them to a stir fry if small enough...
:-X

Well, we can always give it a try, if we don't like it we don't have to grow it again.  We've found that with a lot of things.  That's why seed swaps are so good  :) :) :)

If you like the taste of cardboard you'll enjoy them.   ;)  ;D

Ive just bought a packet of these....not looking forward to cardboard taste though  :-X
Hoping I will like them in stir fry or something. Has anyone grown them & really liked them 7 if so in what ways did you cook them?
Thanks

green sleeves

Thought these were a great idea last year, cooking instructions  sound great but alas didnt live up to their rep. But some times you have to try tese things to see if you  like them.

Green sleeves or green hair , it depends on the direction of the wipe. Dont fear untill you have to shake hands.

They are great as an ornamental... mine were still flowering in November.. didn't keel over until the first sustained frost!
