What do people use? I've always used Tomato feed, Chap next door reckons phostrogen is better.

A bit of what you fancy?

I've always used Vitax professional 2-1-4 for grow bags.

Tomorite is 4-4.5-8 &

Phostrogen is 14-10-27

Biscombe

I use mainly molasses, the plants love it! there's a sugar cane factory on the coast that sells off the stuff they cant use to the local agricultural shop, they sell it for a 1€ a liter! bargin! Other than that I use guano of homemade nettle stink juice!

calendula

home made comfrey liquid feed

You can feed them on any high nitrogen feed, nettle juice, comfry juice, manure in the water but.

My preference is Chempac No2 for cucumbers but i also use Chempac No 4 and 8 for other veg.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

Cevenol Jardin

I use black jack, compost tea, or diluted seaweed feed

High N for Cues? One would think so, yet Vitax use 2-1-4 as main feed!

Whats the numbers indicate again Tim? Never heard of Vitax or Chempac.

tim

N Nitrogen
P Phosphorus
K Potash
Numbers are just proportions.

Interesting that Vitax 2-1-4 has such a low P count. This is especially for grow bags.

Vitax & Chempak are probably the biggest UK suppliers?

Try clicking on my website link on the signature line of my reply then click on 'F' in the alphabetical index then 'Fertiliser' and this hopefully will take you to the article.
