Hi anyone have any titles of good fruit and veg allotment or gardening books?

Hessayon is almost a bible to veg growers. You might also try "The [Concise] Guide to Self Sufficiency" by John Seymore and Geoff Hamiltons Organic Gardening.

Dr D G Hessayon is quite happy to use chemicals though. ;D

But I still have a copy and it's a great book.  The diagrams of diseases for each type of plant are brilliant, as are all other diagrams.

You can get that on Ebay for £8.99 and that includes postage and they are brand new.
I recently got the Hessayon book and find it a great reference book, clear and to the point.
Bob Flowerdew's Organic Bible is a very interesting read.
