A mouse with large ears came running around our shed and looked like she was carrying a flower petal in her mouth.
She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw me. A closer look: she was carrying a baby mouse just like a cat carries her kitten. I'd never seen that before, looked cute.

They move the young when they feel the nest is threatened somehow.
