When will one ever learn?

Carrots. Many people have difficulty in growing them.

Year after year I have noticed that all the seeds that you spill at the start of a row germinate in a clump.

So - I thought - sow shallowly.

Until I thought to check this am - 3/4"!! Oh, well, let's start again!!
