flanked by red Mr. Lincoln which I always thought was super fragrant until growing
the pink Evelyn rose which has a heady aroma.

Those roses look gorgeous and the sweet pea doesn't look too bad either!

Why have you not grown SP's before now?

I tried once planting them in the Fall but they didn't survive the winter. This time they started in pots in Feb.  however, they'll be short-lived probably because it is too hot.

This sweet pea has no fragrance. I'm hoping one called Old Spice blooms. I've never smelled a sweet pea and this one is supposed to be fragrant.
(we need a smiley face with a very hopeful expression!)
