Leaves curling up on potatoes ?

Hi All :)
Does anybody know the cause of leaf curl on potatoes as a freind of ours potato leaves are curling up  ???

There is a thread about the problem we have on our site - I posted pictures on it.  Catastrophic Potato Problem.  That's one possibility.

Leaf Roll Virus is one cause the leaves curl upwards and become hard and  brittle. The affected plants are usually stunted

I have noticed this on someones plot not far from mine, hope he keeps it to himself :o
