Wooden stakes

I recently went down to my local farm supplies shop (great place - sells everything).  On the ground, around the wood piles and fencepost were lots of 1/2" by 1/2" by 5' long pieces of wood.  They are what separates all the layers of timber, and are free for collection.......give aways!  Brill for bean stakes, fruit bush cages etc.  :)
