Staples. A warning!

THis morning while potting up some plant divisions I found out the hard way that the nursery had attached the plant label to the pot with a staple gun. The prongs on the staple were sticking out into the soil. Fortunately I was wearing thicker than normal gloves for some reason. Even so the staple ripped through. Without the gloves I would have had a bad wound instead of a scratch. So take care all you pot re-cyclers.

This seems to be a common practice now Eric.  I think that it is their way of preventing plant and correct label parting company. :)
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

Viscious though!  Do you think it's their way of telling us to keep up with tetanus jabs! ;D

I`m firmly convinced that it`s their way of trying to discourage people from using the pots again.  They work on the basis that by the time you`ve got sore fingers from getting the first staple out you`ll give up and go and buy some new pots
