Asparagus - wot r u doing with yours!

Sorry my favourite asparagus recipe is just with butter!

My first attempt at growing an asparagus bed was ruined by slugs and snails-but after years I`m trying again. The babies are going to get put out either this year or next spring.

Then I will wee on them and say " thanks for the memory"

I bet I`m not the only one here who loves the stuff but also has a certain `reaction`  ;)

Ahem, think Cleo is talking about the "smell" reaction......................4 of us eating it last night certainly worked at this mornings abloutions........think I read somewhere it is genetic, you either have smelly wee after eating it or you don't!
(bit like rolling your tongue I guess.....and yes we all can! ;D)

Just wish I could get it to all come up at the same time instead of 3 or four a day.

Only the first year from seeds. None are being touched to give them strength.
So may be, next year. Or is it the one after?
