I signed up for the B& Q free toms for school project afew weeks ago,no varieties named of course

The plants came today...yep you guessed it, now what can I tell the kids to do  with 202  Moneymaker plants!!

I laughed so loud when I opened the boxes.

Is money maker not a good variety ?

I have never grown them

or are there just to many?

our school haven't received ours yet but they are going to be given to all the kids who want one and they will have to record what they do with them and how well they grow and how much fruit they get off them

the reception class are having five in the classroom and five out side in different soils and conditions are going to record which ones do best.

which should be fun

why oh why do i always volunteer for school projects ???

No project is ever lost-as I remember school holidays the kids can see them grow,see them flower,and with luck they will be away when it comes to tasting them.

Well it`s trouble free,easy to grow and crops heavily-so far so good-but then one has to taste them ;D
