Some beautiful Aquilegias there.  Mine were similarly attcked by aphids this year but a good blast of water from the hosepipe soon sorted 'em out.   ;D

Many thanks BB, I have printed this post out, save me scrolling back and forwards from list to pics :)
My Aquilegia which were sown from seed (sent to me by Georgie) are just beginning to flower. The chap who does some gardening for young Lorna next door calls them Grandma's bonnet. I love them
I do have a nice patch of bluebells which started out from just a couple given to me by a work colleague about 10years ago.
I have a lot of learning of plant names having only really grown things like Fuchsias and Geraniums plus bedding plants. Since joining A4A and being on my own have got interested in different plants.

Hi BB.  Yes, I managed to over-winter both the Circus Spangles and the Swingtime Fuchsia plugs you sent me and I've taken a few cuttings off the latter which are doing well (and a couple of which I'll pass on to Lorna if she wants them).  I know you lost yours - did you manage to get replacements?

Yes please Georgie. Will have to try and arrange our next meeting. I am confined to the house from Mon 19th May for 2/3 weeks. The builders are coming (at last) to refurbish my kitchen, I will make sure I have paracetamol in stock as they are removing a floor to ceiling cupboard (pantry). Although they don't work on Saturdays or Sundays so my weekends will be free.
I am sure you will enjoy 4th June BB, hope the weather is kind to you. Perhaps you ought to confine yourself to ONE side of your wallet.
I have bought some fuchsias this year but they are not named, just wanted to replace some. I haven't got Swingtime.
I received 6 plugs this morning which I ordered they are listed as ....Fuchsia Perpetual Falls,  according to jparker they are trailing hardy.
