Kiln Fires

Kiln fires are a great way to get some return from your garden  rubbish. I burn anything that is not toxic ie plastic, rubber etc. i keep back all the stalks from my veg, any weeds or grass i dig out. Old compost from flower tubs, hanging baskets and so on. I build the fire as in the back ground below light it and when its well away put the rubbish on top.




I then cover it with soil as below this will smolder away for days converting the rubbish inside to ash.
