I have been offered some length of hessian, would it be possible to use it as a path?  Any other ideas for its use?

You could always make sacks for your spuds...

Or even put manure in it and suspend it in your water barrels
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

If hessian is the same as burlap I think it would rot quickly using it on a path. Maybe suspend it over shade loving crop like lettuce in mid-summer to extend its season a bit?

It definitely rots fast if it's damp all the time. It's good for smoker fuel when it's half rotten.

I use it to cover beds through the winter that are not being used, until I am ready to use them the following spring.  Keeps weeds down ;)
