My neighbour just gave me some largish seeds of a fruit and I just cannot for the life of me remember what he said they are called  :-[.
(Can't ask him, he's gone to a wedding now, for five days.)

It's "Something APPLE"...White flesh inside, came from Spain he said.

Of course being new to all this, never heard of them before  ::)

Any ideas please?  :-*

OMG.. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Thank You.  ;D.  I've spent three hours thinking about what he said the name was. It's been doing my head in.. grrrrrr

Anybody ever grown them with any success from their own saved seed?

Just googled this and it said the trees grow up to 33ft tall.

Maybe its time to learn bonsai Lauren ;D ;D ;D ;)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

I bought a custard apple. I didn't get much fruit out of it - there were squillions of large seeds inside - just as well I bought it for the seeds! I've managed to get a couple to sprout.

You eat the seeds when eating the fruit, (like pomegranate) they taste like vanilla custard, should be cut in half and eaten with a teaspoon.
