.....when you spend more time at the plot than sorting out your garden at home, and then when you go to mow the lawn you find out your lawnmower is broken and you can't cut it yet!



You can see where we had a huge bonfire the year before last, and the forget-me-nots have seeded in a circle......pretty, but only until we get another mower! :-\

i must confess that as i work shifts and hubby does too that when i want to do gardening i dont want to be cutting the grass, plus we need to buy quite a meaty lawnmower so i now pay someone to cut it for me money really well spent, veg patch this year is looking far superior to last year when i had to cut my own grass

I have just spent the afternoon in my allotment mowing the grass  ;D ;D ;D

That is tomorrow's task, if it is dry enough. My mower is a good old fashioned cylinder type, very little to go wrong, except the grass box no longer stays attached ... at least I can fashion a new clip ...
