A reminder - or introduction'

They haven't re-hashed the English bit yet, but it's still a great site?

Mr Smith

I bought an old Hedging tool off the local car boot we have a couple of stalls that sell antique and old tools, I would  love to know who was a previous owner that actually used it for it's purpose :)

The tools made carefully for their purpose by the gardener or local blacksmith for the farmer are fascinating.

Nothing was wasted, old fork handles became dibbers and end bits of small meshed wire was nailed to a circle of timber to become a soil sieve.

I forgot about the lumps of timber nailed to old shoes, used to tread over freshly dug soil.

The garden shed must have been a hive of industry on rainy days.

I remember that, now, saddad.
