Not the wind - stood up the recent gales without a scratch.  The end seam has been unpicked and all the insect netting ripped and all the roof bars bent.  I want to kill them >:(

If they just wanted to get out of the cold and rain, why not just unzip the door and go in?  This way they have destroyed their own shelter - scumbags

Mindless vandals.  >:(

Should bring back the birch.

Sparkly

Sorry to hear this. If there was any vandalism on my plot, I would be taking watch with a shot gun! We are lucky that our site is pretty secure. Hope this is a one off and you are sorted again soon.

Hi, just up the road from you, Hatton Cross/Bedfont. We seem to have our sheds broken into regularly on a friday night. We reckon it is the neighboring sports club manager getting his punters to wind us up, we wont let him have gates in the perimeter fence for them to retrieve their footballs.
We are not taking any protective measures, let them get on with it, they will soon tire. It is annoying though.
Don't worry about tomorrow, or yesterday, just think about today.

SMP1704

I have had the shed broken into as well.

They nicked a claw hammer, chisel type thingy and my new pink suede/tan leather gloves (that's what upset me most).  So if you see someone breaking into a car or house wearing those gloves you know where they came from!

Really sorry to see the damage the scumbags have done. I really get so mad when this sort of thing happens. Few months ago daughter Lorna (next door) bought a (new to her) car. She hasn't got a garage, withing the first week some idiot had put a scratch down one side.

You have my sympathy over your tunnel,
While on my plot at dinner time today a group of older schoolkids where sat outside the fencing and having a stone throwing session using any glass they could see as there targets,

I strolled down the plots got as near as i could on my side of the fence and took a picture of them ,Youve never seen kids move so fast, I can see there school from the plot so i went in and told the head people that if any damage happened to my plot over the incident (they had seen where i walked from) i would prosecute the kids and tell the newspapers all about it
I know that they would only get there hands slapped but i said i would do my damndest to see they got a criminal record , and the school got a lousy name.

Now for the s**t part the battery was flat on my phone no pic

......but those kids don't know that mrf94.... ;D ;D ;D  Reckon they'll stay away a while - they wouldn't have scarpered if they were not bothered about being caught.

and now it is repaired.

Spent most of last Saturday stitching the back panel in place.  Still need to put in a new zip, but a really chunky one - as used for boat canopies.  Also applied anti-climb paint to the top of the fence.

mrf94

SMP I wondered if you got around the problem of the wind lifting the velcro on
the vents.

mrf94

SMP1704

MRF94 - no problem with the wind, just vandals >:(

I have velcro on both sides and the bottom.

You can get adhesive velcro strips - perhaps add some more?

No its ok our site is very windy and the velcro isnt up to the job ,
I cured it by putting a ? 4ft bamboo cane through the tie up loop
and sticking it in the ground two loops per vent two sticks no more problem.

Edit

My jobs cleaning and ive saved all the brush / mop handles ive found and i have just enough to put my canes back in the tomatoe tubs and use these instead.
