poppies wanted...

I would very much like some nice giant poppy varieties in my garden. Have any of you got some spare seeds? I have lots of veg seeds to swap with.

I've got a few too if you'd like some- in fact, I bought a huge bag of poppy seeds from a grocer (70p) and have broadcast them around the garden and now we have hundreds of little poppies  ;D not sure how they will turn-out (I think they're a Hungarian variety) but its a really cheap way to get a LOT of flower seeds.

At the moment i don't have any large papaver varieties, just small black and red poppies for a "Goth" border (don't ask  :o), you can have some for a goth borer as well if you want.
I do have a nice pale peach with dark red centre giant poppy which blooms in summer and could save seed from this to send you later on for sowing next year. The Goth bed is on an allotment and the peach variety in the f=garden with no tother cultivars around so should breed truish.
