Plant Swap Sale

Does anyone know if we had a plant swap or sale of plants on our allotment  and invited the general public if we would need to take out insurance?  The monies from any sale of plants would be going to a charity.

As a Society we have Public Liability Insurance but I do know this does not cover inviting the general public en masse onto the site.

Would be grateful to hear from anyone who has come across this on their site.

We have been running such sales for ten years and none of the insurers have ever quibbled about a one day event..
Check with Newspace if your site is covered under the National scheme.
