It sarted snowing here (ashford, Kent) just after lunchtime & it seem s to be making an attempt to become as Christmassy as where you are Vonny. Im abit worried about my onions (only put them in last week & covered with one layer of fleece)  ::)

;D ;D ;D Hooray!! snow at last!! Yep I know I will grow up one day!! I was so pleased when my son who had been out quite late last night called me (knows I never sleep very well!!) and asked me to look out of the window.... It was a complete white world here in Warwickshire and still snowing heavily!! My son eventually arrived home and he took me for a drive around... it was wonderful... all that snow and so peaceful and quiet, it seemed as if we were the only people in the world!! The day then proved to be quite warm and sunny and most of the snow has melted... fun while it lasted and at least we can say we have had some snow this winter... well at least in some places!!  Have heard not sure if its correct that its going to freeze later so have been going around struggling to wrap some of our blossoming fruit trees with fleece....

God made rainy days so gardeners could get the housework done.  ~Author Unknown

Al fresco, it's been lovely here all week.

Tony.

Sow it, grow it, eat it.

Grandma

Another 'big kid' here - rarely get enough snow on the south coast so delighted with yesterday's lovely lot! Should have been going to my daughter's for Sunday lunch but had to call it off because of the weather- such a shame, would have loved to join my grandsons playing snowballs and making a snowman.  :D

Never mind - I went out in the garden and made one for myself.....

.............no fun playing snowballs by yourself, though, so I didn't bother!

For some reason I put my snowy garden pic in 'The Gallery' - (April showers) - if you want to see what made a grandma so excited!

Will I ever grow up?  ::)
