older barn cloches

Although the currently available barn cloches take either 6 inch or 12 inch walls, We have some old wires, in the garden we are working, which clearly take 9 inch glass in the walls.  Has anyone come across these before and who made them?  I do ask out of interest, not to buy more.  I am quite happy to use them as they are.
