Stork

For lunch today: Lollo Rosso, Roquette, Beefsteak Tomato, Cherry Tomato all picked this morning.
I have some nice yellow courgettes ready for the barbecue tomorrow.

For those of you who don't know...I live in The Gulf, so the seasons here are all over the place.

We're slowly heading into the furious heat of the summer. It was 34c today. Soon that will feel like a cool day when the mercury is pushing 50c.

I see you are all being snowed on this Bank Holiday and I have to say I'm envious.

Good luck to all for a great growing season to come.

Now, where did I put the remote control for the air conditioning?

All that warm weather sounds wonderful but I know what you mean ,you can have too much of it.It saps your energy,or perhaps you just get used to it?

Stork

Betula,

I do like the warm winters but it's simply not possible to get used to endless days of 45c+.

We go from air-con house to air-con car to air-con office.

I long for my old allotment in Harrow. I used to get down there in all weathers.

Yes,I know when we have had heat waves here it was such a treat  to go into a shop with air con.
We are never happy are we? ;D
We are all desperate to get going on our allotments the winter seems endless.
How do you keep everthing growing in that heat?Endless watering?
:)
