Coal ash can contain sulphur,not good for the garden :)

Could it not be used on paths? Presuming you have raised beds of course..........its only a thought :)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Coal ash is traditional for paths; we used it for years in Cornwall, with no discernable damage to the garden. Grass grew enthusiastically on the path edges.

Its the same in Ireland Rob, almost all the older houses have clinker driveways and paths :)
