After working in a garden today clearing up i found these in a pod, about to be thrown on the fire heap. Obviously some sort of bean but any ideas which, i have never grown beans before so have no idea how different they all look or if you can tell them apart at all?

Thanks for replies!
I got some hunter beans from a kind A4A member last year they are a lot smaller and no spots, and the runner beans i have got are celebration and they are dark purple with spots?
Dont know if yo can see clearly in picture but they are more cream than white with brown specks?

Petera :  will do search for runner beans (just assumed they were all purple  :-[) thanks

I looks like one of several true  runner beans,  might grow tall might be a dwarf but I bet it is a runner, you wouldn't know what size till it started to grow.  If you grew it you might recognise the variety from the flowers, bright red or red and white, purple etc.

Plant them and see, it will put tendrils out before you have to put it outside so you will know of it is a tall or dwarf variety.
