The weather TODAY in...

Quite a nice day here in Brum. Got to the plot at 11am. Enlarged the wire frame around the sprouts now that they have reached the top. Took some of the bottom leaves off. (might even have some to pick in acouple of weeks) Wilkies seeds).Put a highwire frame up around the PSB ready for its spurt of growth, quickly weeded the carrots under the enviromesh and got the cover back on em.Had one of ower Tones taters from last year growing up right in the middle of em.. Picked some blueberries, Raspberries and blackberries. Beans and tomatoes. Nearly forgot. Spread the bonemeal all over the onion bed ready for all that lovely rain tomorrow.

I think it is raining and was going to play tennis, outdoors.  Oh well back to blanching runner beans and cooking soup.  Think we miss most of the rain in Enfield, but if we get the heavy rain and thunder storms it will mean I don't have to water my pumpkin, again, again.  The runner beans will love it.  It has stopped now, but is still very dark, here in not so sunny Enfield.

Not sure I like being a bag lady, I will hit you with my stick,  but have been called an old bag a few times but don't really care, and going a bit deaf, can't hear the insults.  Yes it is still raining, luckily daughter and grand daughter should be home from camping today near Corfe Castle in Dorset.  Anyone here know what the weather for like there last week.???
