All these 'best at' dancing, cooking, ice skating, gardeners etc are so mind-numbingly boring, I have over 100 chanels to watch and I hardly watch the box nowadays. Where did all the plays go?

The next Masterchef, btw...prof chefs next time & Torode won't be there...think it's that french chappie (one of the many, then ;D) but Pasty'll still be there gobbing down the puds shouting that tasting them DOESN'T GET TOUGHER THAN THIS!! :o

Katy & I thought it a bit odd that there didn't seem to be any other M/C watchers here, given the foodies in the recipe section, so praps next time round we can have a designated thread now that it seems that many of us have been avid watchers?

From other forums I picked up that the the results in the summer were kept tightly under wraps until after the broadcast & that James had been working in a friend's garage until now - wonder who'll be offering him work?....spect we'll find out in time.

Jonny the "ex-banker" LOL I don't know if he ever worked in a bistro, but I'd think that a gastro-pub, albeit a very good gastro-pub, will probably be his ceiling?

And Emily....ahhh, Emily :-* Has she taken up her place at Oxford, I wonder? Her creativity was truly exceptional 8) Disagree strongly that she must "learn to control that artistic licence" :o, but do agree with T/toes that a grounding in the basics is going to be essential for her - combination of the two and one day she will be....er.....
