Wow lots of work to do there !! Its soooo anoying when the plots are left so long they become a nightmare to get back into use  :(
Just think this time next year it will look soooooooooooo much different  :D

I am quite worried about this too.  I did not get over to London this past weekend but am itching to see what condition the allotment I have 'hired' (is that the right word?) is in.  If it needs major clearing I will need to make arrangements to do that before I head over in February.

Looks like a lovely site, despite all the work it will need to get it into shape Flowergirl - I love the views from there as well.  Imagine once it is all cleared and planted sitting out there on a warm summers evening sipping something bubbly and preferably alcoholic and enjoying that view?

Looks like you are making a good start. I agree that it is SO annoying that they have been left to become so overgrown, doesn't seem right when people are crying out for them elsewhere.

Good luck( the blog looks good too by the way!)

Rob08,

Where's your London plot, then? Mine's in the Cricklewood/ Brent Cross area.

Rob - If you find that the plot is overgrown (it probably will be) you could ask CIP to clear it for you - I suggest that you talk to Julien Pears.  They will do a rough rotavate for you (money permitting) but the plot must be clear of anything that could damage the machine.

Flowergirl - that a great plot - at least it is 'just' grass to clear, 10ft brambles would be a lot more daunting ;)

Hi Paul,
If you want to start your own blog you can click on my blog link ( or anybody Else's) and usually on the top right hand side it will say....
**Start your own blog**
Now, if I've done it anybody can.
I use *Photo Bucket* to upload my photos to my blog or A4A forum using the IMG code at the bottom of each uploaded pic.
Hope this helps  :)
