When I took the wild overgrown patch that I laughingly called 'my allotment' I almost didn't think I would get through an entire month let alone a year but I have and my blog that I have to record the goings on at the plot celebrates it's first birthday today!!! http://www.fork-in-hell.blogspot.com/  ;D

Shameless promotion of my blog eh!!  ::)

Congrats on your first blog year.
I have to admit I'm addicted to Blog Reading as it's very inspirational.
Keep up the great work.  ;D

Thanks Kev, marg and Lauren!  ;D

I agree Marg it is difficult when you first start blogging trying to work out what to write about, I think I just ramble on and hope it makes sense! I started mine to keep a record for myself but also to offer inspiration to others as Lauren has said. Before I took on the first plot I read loads of blogs to get some helpful info so I wanted to put something back, so to speak.

Wahey!

You're doing great!

I too am almost a yearling! - it seems sooooo long ago now that I faced the huge pile of rubbish and weeds that I now lovingly refer to as mine!

It's sad really - but I don't have much to do now and am kinda creating things to do on my plot - such as building a pergola to sit under!  How the year has flown!

Thanks Louise, it does seem in soom ways longer than a year and in other ways it feels like yesterday. I'm the same as you though in that we too are starting to create jobs so I think the new 2nd plot will help us with that.

Thanks Caroline, I'm very happy with the way things have gone, there has been lots of swearing in the process but we are moving forward at least!  ;D

I'm sure I don't put you to shame and that you are doing well, do you have a blog??

;D I am quite clever at taking photos from certain angles to hide the scruffy areas!!!  ::)
