Sorry to have to say this but as pop group reforms go this one was pretty disapointing. I saw them on the Children in Need programme the other night and it did absolutely NOTHING for me. In contrast they also had the reformed Boyzone on and they were great.

Some pop groups are best left in the past, so we can look back and think of how great they were, rather than trying to recapture past glories (not that I thought much of the Spice Girls even i their pomp).

The Spice girls are so far off my musical radar it's untrue... But, weren't they 'good' at bright sparkly energetic pop with a bit of attitude back in the day?

This comeback single I saw on Children in Need was none of those things, instead it was dull, one paced and with no discernable chorus or hook to keep your interest...

It just left me wondering what was the point... They surely must have known it was a dud when they first heard it...

I agree Cuke - the tune is quite ........boring?   But I think they were working along the lines that ....oh well, we're not doing it to make money for ourselves or to be noticed or have a No. 1 hit - it was for charity so aren't we nice girls?..... the publicity will be free(!) - well something like that.  Shame really cos individually I think they are all nice - yep even VB (shame she thinks she looks attractive when she scowls - she's got such a nice smile). I saw them on CiN too and thought they were trying to be a modern version of the old days when girls were scantily clad and only allowed to pose and not move about.. ;D
