You may be interested to  hear that Lewis Hamilton has an allotment connection. His great-uncle John is a long-standing pillar of the Acton Gardening Association in west London, and has the plot next to mine.

WoW, next time you see him please pass on our best wishes and support!!

If he accepts the prize by the whole shoddy business going to Court, I shall disown him.

I very much dout he would accept it, the team would accept it and he would hand it back.

To have the world title taken away is a bit cruel and probably not good for the sport," Hamilton told 5live Sport.

"It would feel weird after Kimi did such a fantastic job in the last two races and won on Sunday."

He added: "I want to win it on the track. You want to do it in style, you want to win the race or battling it out for the lead.

"Being promoted after other people have been thrown out is not the way I want to do it."

I have to agree with you redclanger he has certainly improved the racing and watchability of f1 this year but I can't bring myself to say he is the new Senna as imho Senna is in a class of his own.

I prefer Moto GP and oh how I wish I was Valentino Rossi.
My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea. He wanted to conquer the bloody world. I wanted Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in. Bill Shankly.
