But you're right, this year has been bad for sweet chestnuts. I foraged for some last year and loads were the size of medium conkers!

Even the squiggles look peeved at the size........

At the bottom my street there's lots of bigger nuts than them. At the top end are loads of duck-eggs!   ;D

Ahh I picked one of these up in the garden the other day and wondered what it was lol
I put it on the wall as I was on my way out and was going to pick it up when I got in but as I drove in the gate I saw a squirrel sat on the wall eating it :( It was HUUGE too...
