Does anyone know where I can obtain some of those large blue bottles they use in water dispensing machines.
I contacted several well known companies by phone, but they won't part with them even though I was willing to pay.  :'(

Any body know of any, please?

Hi Lauren

Most suppliers of water dispensing machines now use plastic
bottles. Non Returnable.
A lot of offices use them ,ive even seen a load of empties stacked
up at my local Job Center

We have them at work and the company we use takes them back and charges for any that go AWOL so I presume they are reused. However, or or two have amnaged to get onto my plot mysteriously.

I inherited some from another allotmenteer. She asked the company for the damaged ones  - and they delivered them to her. Problem is - I can't remember which company it was, and we have now gone over to a piped water dispenser at work.

No not at all, like the post above, if you ask they give you damaged ones for free.
