If you live anywhere within reach,do go now! Actually a week or two ago would have been even better, but we went today and the perennial borders were gorgeous! Having seen them completely bare and empty a year ago, it's such a transformation. Even more impressive (IMHO) is the "Whale and mermaid" border, made up of willow structures and direct sown annuals- stunning! Lots more to see, too, and there's an exhibition of sculptures in the woods until Oct.28th.
I'm thinking of going back in a few weeks' time with a supply of paper bags and some secateurs. ;)
Will try to get some of OH's pics up later in the week but he's about to catch a train to London just now.
