I am creating a raised bed tomorrow which means moving all the established plants my question is I have an established rhodadandrum which is a bit leggy can I just leave it be and raise the soil around the base of the branches or will this be fatal to the shrub? :-\

ACE

When the branches of a rhodie touch the ground they root, layering is the prefered way to propagate them. So I cannot see you doing any harm to the plant. Providing you are only raising  the soil to the lower branches.

Thanks Ace will follow that advice :) :)
