I was down on hands & knees in the greenhouse groping for blighted tomato leaves thinking why don't I just buy vegtables from Tescos like most sane people I know do when something caught my eye hidden in all the foliage - an enormous, perfect, black, shiny aubergine [which I hadn't seen before] which said to me quite clearly 'mousakka for tea'?  I then stood up & bumped my head on a dear little melon, about tennis ball size which I hadn't seen before either. 

Which is why I don't buy vegtables from Tescos I suppose.  :)

Glad you are getting enough to keep the spirits up... OH saw peas in pods in Sainsburys reduced to something ridiculous like £1-50 per lb...
That's another reason.. and the taste..

Tesco are doing free eye tests at the moment  ;D (kidding) its lovely when you  find them, found two melons the size of table tennis balls yesterday.

That's the magic of it. Yesterday I found an entire squash plant in the jungle that is my back garden! Blooming away, we may get some pumpkins yet!  ;D

I've found a few hidden squashes as well  :) I think it's best 'not to look' for a couple of weeks and then you get a GREAT feeling when you find something  ;D
