Guess the plant ??

This is growing under some trees on grass (well it's choking the light off the grass really) It's probably about 15-20cm high...ish and about 15-20cm across each leaf, it seems to spread as opposed to bunch.

Searched all over and can't find out what it is so far...

Help would be much appreciated  :)

Same leaves as on my buckwheat which is choking off the light to everything.

Only a partially informed suggestion I'm afraid.

believe coltsfoot was a remedy for coughs - tussa means cough. But you had to smoke it  :D
