Buckingham Nurseries say this ...

QuoteBLUEBERRY, HERBERT (Vaccinium corymbosum Herbert).  Season of Use: Mid-late Aug.

Very large dark berries which are considered to be the best flavoured of all varieties. Two different varieties should be planted to improve cross-pollination. Peaty (acid) soil needed. Plant 5ft (150cm) apart.

sounds good  ;) :D

excellent, thank you flowerlady ;D
I had a look on the Dorset Blueberry website but couldn't find any info, so that's really helpful!

Amazin

I bought a 'Herbert' from Buckingham Nurseries earlier in the year - only a baby, but bless its heart it has given me 18 huge blueberries - one for every inch of its height so far....!
