Hello,

the toms, peppers and melons in my greenhouse have all developed light brown spots on the leaves. Now nearly all the leaves and flowers have fallen off. I dont think it is blight, as it is affecting the melons and chillis too. Or am I mistaken?

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Also, do you think it will be worth cutting the peppers and chillis down to a stump to see if they will regrow?

One tomato plant, the pumpkin, rocket and spinach are unaffected.

Thank

cj :)

When watering do you wet the leaves?

Have you added anything to the water?

If yes what?

What type of ventilation do you have?

Is it possible to take a picture of the leaves?

All I am trying to find out is what you may have inadvertently done.

As things stand at the moment I just can't offer any suggestion as to what the problem is.

What I meant, of course, unhelpfully, was that this is the ninth post that might better be in PESTS & DISORDERS.

Dear Tim
Why not just say so right off?

carolinej

OK point taken Tim. I'll put it on pests and diseases.

Dear Anne - I shouldn't need to?

That's right Tim but we are all fallible human beings?
