Oz, you used to quote "Tigers aren't just for Crimbo".  Welll doesn't that mean they should be forever and can't just be turned loose maybe to wander lonely and lost - or worse harrass other animated cyber creatures.  Think you'll need to update the slug hunting helmet and get out there to find him - could always sprinkle some magic dust when you do just to calm you both down!!
