Small daughter's runner bean -brought home from school- has beans on it. Wheras half of mine haven't germinated and the rest are only a couple of inches high.

Mind you I was sent down to water hers at 8:30 last night :)

It's called successional sowings - you get a longer cropping season that way - just lie back and enjoy it

and thank the teacher for introducing the kids to growing plants!
