Have some roots of this if anyone wants any. Just pop them in a pot or the ground and they'll sprout very easily!
Would like to swap with any other root type of perennial (especially cottage garden plants)

:P

Comfrey 'Hidcote Pink'
Pretty clusters of pale pink flowers, that open from
red buds, are produced in mid- to late spring above
mounds of hairy, mid-green leaves. A great groundcover
for woodland gardens or semi-wild areas. It is ideal
for planting in bold drifts in a moist, partially
shaded site and associates particularly well with
ferns.

Ha! I've just ordered 5 Bocking-14 plants from the organic gardening catalogue.  We've cleared a space on the allotment which is well away from the beds, and hopefully will be making our own manure and mulch. We already use nettles, so are used to the smell.

Hi Cardinalflower - do you still want cottage garden perennials?

I could offer pink geranium clump with root (they might even flower this year) and small lady's mantles. also if you'd like hollyhock seeds they'll be ready soon. I know that's not roots, but they are the archetypal cottage garden plant!
