I'm always moving my pots around to experiment with various planting combinations.  Pleased with these today.   :)  G x

Aquilegia with Fuchsia Lady Boothby

Dryopteris erthrosora with Tagetes.  I love the colour of the new fronds.

Lychnis against a conifer.

Rose with Rue as backdrop.

gorgeous Georgie! I love moving my pots round too.  ;D Very useful when one thing stops flowering or the foliage goes a bit sorry to able to move it. And lots of fun.
Don't throw paper away. There is no away.

Aww thanks.   ;D  Like you say Emmy, it gives you so many more options when you grow your plants in containers and you can hide eyesores!

Pleased to see 'Lady Boothby' Georgie, a friend has just promised me seeds of hers but we weren't sure of the name.  ;D

Ah right, first year of growing it as an alleged 'climber'.  So far I'm impressed: beautiful leaf markings and already in bud from plug plants.  Why are you getting seeds rather than cuttings?

Lovely photos Georgie. Glad you are pleased with Lady Boothby I remember when you sourced it, good result from plug plants. Now I know what Lychnis looks like!! KP sent me some Lychnis seeds but have a long way to go yet (I sowed seeds late) but hope I will still be OK.
Lorna.

Maggie the Aquilegia is McKana hybrids.   :)

Thanks Lorna.  There is more than one sort of Lychnis.  The more usual ones have lovely grey, downy foilage and flowers in various shades from white to magenta.   ;D
