Two pic's of this, I'm thinking wasp. It's very tiny. The second pic is focused on the tiny anthers of the flower where the 'wasp' is collecting nectar.
Any ideas?

I run away from wasps but I wouldn't run from that. I agree Hoverfly.
It was my daughter that wanted the allotment, so why is it that my back is aching.

Yep, definitely a hoverfly.
Grow your own and enjoy the fruits of your labours,
Regards Alan.

Beautiful pictures!  :) May I ask what kind of camera you used?

I have a few 35mm film cam's but got myself a Sony P5 a few years back. Takes really good 'point and shoot' pics but I love photography and being able to post pic's, especially macro stuff, so I saved up my money from my £2.80p an hour jobby and splashed out on a DigiSLR.
Canon was what I had in mind, but having used the Canon 450, plus having a stock of Minolta lenses I opted for the new Sony Alpha 100. I'm very pleased I did. It handles better than the latest Canon and takes all my Minolta lenses. Up to now I can't fault it and would certainly recommend it to anyone thinking of going DigiSLR.

Thank you very much for the info.  ;) I'd love to be able to take beautiful pictures like yours. I have a Pentax Optio bought several years ago and it doesn't take lenses. I can't get good pictures with it - nowhere near as good as yours! Then I'm not very familiar with photography so I may be doing things wrong... Your pics inspired me, I feel like learning photography now. :)
