What great pictures of a stunning plot - thanks for posting them.  Do post again - later in the year -  so that we can see more of the amazing varieties that you grow

At last! I've been dying to have a nose round your plots!  :)

Your brassicas look amazing, and the cucs, in fact EVERYTHING looks amazing.
You been goofin' with the bees?

Jeannine

Please notice in the long shots the empty lottie to the left hand side, that is the pumpkin patch, the one that the vandals wrecked ,so it is empty. Jack be Little has not been out long on the other side so they didn't get him. New squash are at the two leaf stage so we are  hopeful  that we can get them in. XX Jeannine

You know I have to be very truthful here.

1. John is responsible mostly for the way it looks as he does all the heavy work,I am able to dig around and plant  the raised beds only.

2. It looks better on the photo than in reality.

Way down at the back were the first long raised bed is, full length of the plot, well that is my strawberry bed and if you look to the right hand side of that bed it is full of couchgrass, only one half is still with strawberries.

Behind the brassica patch, (the last row is swedes) there are rows of spuds, they have tons of weeds in them.

Eventually we want this lottie to be completely full of the same 1 foot high raised beds but it is expensive to do.

However the point really is, the credit has to go to John , and considering he eats very few veggies he is an angel really.

There are a great many weeds her, they are just blending in. XX Jeannine

A fabulous lottie Jeannine - but if John doesn't eat many veggies - who eats all those wonderful varieties? I have a small garden plot and can grow just about all I can eat for a year!

Tricia

Jeannine

He eats spuds, peas, beans(not broad) lettuce and loves tomatoes.

Eats broccoli and cauli under protest.

Won't eat cabbage, squash, sweet potato, courgette, leeks, cucumber, celery, aubergine or asparagus, but he likes coleslaw!!

I can get away with  most things is stews ,soups and stir fries,

I now put stuff on salad that he doesn't want,I think he picks it out if I am not looking but eats it under protest if I am.

He won't eat fresh strawberries, raspberries, grapes, peaches, nectarines or blueberries but will if in a pie or crumble.

Will eat oranges, plums apples ,pears and cherries

Will enjoy, black currant jam, although his favourites are crab apple and bramble.

Won't look at a banana or melon.

Forget stuff like spinach, rocket, etc all the funny salad stuff.

Does eat pumpkin pie though and  rhubarb, apple etc etc

He has a lot of pride in the grapevine though, just won't eat the fruit

A right royal pain in the neck sometimes actually.I have this rule now, 3 brussel sprouts get you a piece of pie for dessert, you want custard with it, eat your salad.
