I have been infected by the "rose virus"  ... I have surrendered to my addiction gracefully. There's no recovery"   On the other hand, imagine life without roses – a dreadful thought!

Palustris

It is one of the variegated forms of Euonymous fortunei, probably Silver Queen. Good ground cover in semi-shaded spot.
Gardening is the great leveller.

Rhubarb Thrasher

Or is it a variegated periwinkle. Does it look like it spreads ? Good cover under trees for instance. There's vinca major, tho there's the more delicate one Vinca minor
