Tone and me have taken on the plot next door. Trouble is that when we were digging our plot we threw all the stones and weeds on it cos the secretary said he wasn't gonna let t anyway cos it was too near the railings. We started today so will  post a pic perhaps tomorra. Did try to get Bunjy's kids to pick up stones but after 5 minutes they didn't wanna know. Tony didn't really want to take it on but I said I would do it on my own. Of course That did the trick. He was there with his boots blacked today and the prongs of his fork all shiny and away he went. It's a great way to keep fit. he's 78 years old now and looks just like a spring chicken. Will keep you all updated
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

it is kind of addictive isn't it?  I have taken on an extra half a plot and it's only my second year!  Good luck with it :)

I have added my name to the waiting list for another plot for next year! (Shhhh, dont tell dh, he said NO!)
But I thought that I have until next April to persuade him!! We are 7th on the list, and they say we should get one!
The plot next to us would be lovely, it was taken over this year as well, but the owners are neglecting it somewhat, they have another plot on the other local site, and they have only visited next door a couple of times. It would be great for them if they were offered another plot on the other site, and then this one became available. Would suit us both :)

Still in the plot   36 Leeks, 1x rows parsnips, 2x  rows chard, psb, broccoli, 5 rows garlic, 1 row swede, lots of onions - started in rows, but the birds had them and now they are random!!
