hi peeps,

here is a shot of how our plot looks at the start of may, how is yours coming along?

i do like taking plot long photos to see how things are coming alon

and this when we first took the plot on.

my pics are on the blog.  square patch of weeds atm.  with a few bag strewn around the place holding down polythene !  roll on the weekend, rain or shine, it will be less weeks more earth !

You have done a fair bit of work there. The soil looks good.
If it works, don't knock it!

It's not bad at all to be fair.  I spoke to the lady who planted tatties in it last year and apparently it was like concrete then !

The weeds are taking long to remove than I'd originally envisaged, but it's coming on.  Trouble is, apparently it floods in winter, so not at all sure when I'm going to get the manure on ! 

All good fun though.

yes the soil is good nice and loamy, as its northampton soil its very free draining though.
