Hi
I set Brussels sprout seeds about 1 month ago, they germinated, so i pricked them out into 50 organic pots the brown ones that rot down when planted,

i did 50 pots and every one was about 1inch in height, but they have all disappeared, in the pots, i opened a few and there are none, they all died.

i did water them and then noticed these pots hold the moisture,

just wondered what happend,  can i try again and if so any help be appriciated
hope this e-mail makes sense
thanks
Steve

Probably a bit late for this year Steve... I think the peat pots drew the water out of the compost in the hot weather and they shriveled and died as a result,...

Those things dry out pretty quickly as water evaporates through the sides as well as the top. That's the main reason why I no longer use them.
