Some of the leaves on my redcurrants are going reddish(only way to describe it) Is this an infection or infestion?Only i have never had this before on the bushes and they are about 4 years old.
    P.S.
Some of the fruit is ripening already, bit early is`nt it?

Hi Gordon,

Are the areas raised and crinkly?

Take a look underneath the red areas you may find lots of aphids.

Col
... I am warmed by winter sun and by the light in your eyes.
I am refreshed by the rain and the dew
And by thoughts of you...

Mine as well, much worse this year than normal... Blister Aphids.
I pick off as many affected shoots as possible.
